Yeah, JJ won’t slay a friend of his daughter’s except out of her or his own defence. You’d be surprised how the words, “I’ll never speak to you AGAIN!” can affect a father. And young girls aren’t using that as an empty threat, they can and will, put that threat into practise.
I wonder what father truly is more afraid. Like Commader Clash said. The fear of your daughter hating you forever for hurting her best friend. Or the son that would disobey your orders if you chain and lock him from the outside world like a little baby.
