I’ll be at Staple Independent Media Expo in Austin this weekend! I should really make an event calendar or something…
Micheal B. Jordan was cast as The Human for this past week, and although I’ve heard a lot of negative comments, I really love the idea. Who knows how the FF will shape out. The last two movies weren’t very good, but hopefully a fresh start will put things in the right direction. I am hopeful. I joined up with the Jake and Alva of Pop and Schlock Podcast, Meredith Nudo and Jessi Jordan to discuss it.
The design for the school mascot comes from thisillustration I did for a group project that never came together. Now it gets to survive through the pages of Trasyltown. 😀
Love the expressions and the attachment of Luna with Timothy at this point. And I really litke the mascot/statue outside the school. I wonder how the kids are going to react to Timmy. I see some creulty against him on the horizon. I know it’s not nice to hurt the poor little guy, but sadly, prejudice is everywhere.
My friend, Meredith Death Harpie Nudo, had suggested a Death Harpie as the mascot, lol. I just added some more info about that into the comic blog.
I sense bullies… and teasing. And torment.
I feel for Timmy. Middle School is horrid.
Middle school is a weird time, but for all the rough parts there are good parts. I’m sure Timmy and his friends will experience both.
True, but from what I’ve been through middle school is where lines of friendship and, in some cases, enemies and prejudice have either been drawn or will be drawn. Being the “different” or “new” kid in the past I have had the “pleasure” of going through this. But, hey at least Timothy knows some people going in so that’s a plus.
You’ll need a story for that mascot. 😛
Not a bad idea. Can’t say much, but I’d keep an eye on that mascot. 😀
